The USSSA Hispanic Program will consist of a Men’s,
Women and Mixed Competitive and Recreational Divisions.
All other rules and guidelines will form the 2009 USSSA
Rule Book.
Participation Eligibility
Teams participating in the Hispanic Program will be
allowed to have 5 players that are not of
Hispanic origin on their roster. Only 3 can be allowed
to participate in the game at the same time on offense
or defense.
Players that are
married to a Hispanic or have a Hispanic Parent are
considered to be Hispanic. This player(s) will NOT
be considered as part of the 5 non- Hispanic players.
USSSA and USSSA Hispanic Program are two separate
entities therefore,
If a player is on a USSSA roster, that player can
ALSO be on a separate roster for the Hispanic
Program. This
advantage can also apply to a team. A manager can have a
team registered for USSSA and or USSSA Hispanic Program.
Since they are two separate programs the point system
will also be two separate point systems.
2009 USSSA HISPANIC STATE TOURNAMENT & Requirements
Teams will be required to participate in 1 USSSA
HISPANIC Qualifiers to qualify for the Hispanic State
Tournament. This year the Hispanic State Tournament
will consist of the 3 State Tournaments separated by
Regions. Region 1 will be hosted at Houston Sportsplex.
Region 2 will be hosted in San Antonio at Kennedy
Complex . Region 3 will be hosted at the Harlingen
Complex. All Hispanic State tournaments will be hosted
on August 22-23, 2009
2009 USSSA Hispanic World Tournament
The 2009 Hispanic World Tournament will be held at Big
League Dreams in League City and other Houston Parks .
All TEAMS must play in the HISPANIC STATE TOURNAMENT to
participate in World. Hispanic World will be hosted on
September 11-13, 2009.
Rosters
All rosters are to be online under the
USSSA Hispanic Program August 7, 2009 for the State
Tournaments and World Tournament.

RULES
according to the USSSA Rules Book
Sec. 1.
The Men's and Women's Hispanic World Tournament will
feature the following divisions: Men’s Competitive,
Men’s “D”, Men’s “E” and the Women’s Competitive and
Recreation.
Sec. 2.
Any Men's Hispanic Team that has Players on its roster
who played during the current season on Class "A," "B,"
or "C" Teams shall be shall be required to play in the
Hispanic Competitive Division.
Sec. 3.
An Hispanic Team playing in the Men's Competitive
Division may have one player on its roster whose name
appears on the Major Players List.
Sec. 4.
Hispanic Men's “D”, Men’s “E” and Women's Recreation
Division Teams may have only players who compete in the
Class "D" or lower classification. No Player whose name
appears on the Major Players List shall be allowed to
compete in the Hispanic Men's “D” or Men’s “E” Division.
Sec. 5.
Teams participating in the Hispanic Program will be

Sec. 6.
In the Hispanic
Programs a minimum of 9 Players can start a Game.
However, an out shall be declared when the 10th position
in the lineup is scheduled to bat. A 10th Player may be
added to the 10th position any time before the end of a
Game. Any Team that starts a Game with 10 or 11 Players
may drop to the minimum of 9 Players to finish the Game.
All vacant spot(s) in the lineup will be declared an out
every time that lineup position is due to bat. If a Team
starts with 9 or 10 Players they are not allowed to add
the 11th Player at a later time. Any Player that leaves
the Game for any reason may not return to the Game. (This does not apply to normal re-entry and
substitution) Exception: A Player who has left the
Game under the Blood Rule may return.
Note:
The defensive team may
walk the preceding batter or multiple batters to get to
the position or positions in the lineup that is an out
due to having started with 9 players or having dropped
to 9 or 10 players. There are no base appeals allowed
when this results in the third out of the inning.
Sec. 7.
Players are
eligible to participate in the Hispanic Program by birth
or marriage.
Sec. 8.
All playing rules not specifically covered in this rule,
shall be governed by the other rules, as outlined in
Rules 1 through 10 of the USSSA Rule Book.
